Jessica Q

Jessica teaches piano to all skill levels to students 5 years old or older. She teaches in English and Mandarin Chinese. Jessica is currently earning a master’s degree in piano performance from Longy School of Music & has more than 10 years of teaching experience. She’s been teaching with Haven since the company was founded.

Jessica’s students describe her as warm and encouraging. She especially excels at making young students feel confident and inspiring a love of music in all of her students.

We asked Jessica what her favorite thing about teaching piano lessons is. Here’s what she said —

“I absolutely love spending time with kids and getting to know them. Watching them grow in music makes me so happy, and I learn so much from teaching every day. Plus, getting to do something I love and getting paid for it? Best thing on the planet.“

Jessica teaches mostly in the Cambridge area, but is also available to teach in Newton and Brookline.
