  • Half hour lessons are $75. Monthly tuition is typically $300, but may vary month-to-month based on the number of lessons taught. While we have a per-lesson payment system, your “lessons” include a lot more than just weekly instruction. Here's what enrollment with Haven includes:

    • Extremely qualified instructors with advanced degrees who are handpicked by our owner to be competent and kind.

    • A student-instructor fit guarantee. If you don't love your instructor, we'll find you a new one.

    • An annual recital free for friends and family to join and celebrate your hard work.

    • Quarterly newsletters with the best kid-friendly musical performances in the Boston area.

  • Our instructors travel to your home each week for lessons.

    Instructors are available weekdays and weekends, morning, afternoon and evening. Schedule your lessons at the most convenient time for your family.

  • Haven was founded by a parent who wanted to provide the best of music education with the most convenient experience for parents. As a parent-led company, we promise to prioritize joy and convenience in a way that make your life better, not just busier.

  • Our youngest students begin lessons around 4 years old. Because there are so many factors that contribute to a child’s readiness, we recommend filling out a registration form and talking with our team to determine whether your child is ready for formal instruction.   • Absolutely. Due to the individual nature of lessons, instructors are able to carefully tailor their teaching styles to the age, ability, and goals of the student. Some of our adult students are interested in classical music and technical training. Others prefer to spend their time playing popular songs for their children to sing along with! Either way, or wherever in between, Haven loves adult students.

  • Jessica Q | Piano

    Jessica is currently earning a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Longy School of Music. She has more than 10 years of teaching experience and speaks English and Mandarin fluently.

  • Grace F | Cello, Viola & Violin

    Grace has a Bachelors Degree from VCU and has been teaching since 2022.

    Kexin Z | Piano

    Kexin is currently earning a Graduate Performance Diploma from Longy School of Music after finishing her Masters degree in piano performance in 2024. She has been teaching piano lessons since 2020.

  • Xiaoxiao Y | Piano

    Xiaoxiao earned a Masters degree in Piano Performance from Longy School of Music. She has been teaching privately since 2018 and is especially passionate about making music accessible for all learners.

  • Sohyun C | Piano, Voice & Little Maestros

    Sohyun has a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and recently completed her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance, She is currently earning a Graduate Performance Diploma from the New England Conservatory. Sohyun teaches in English and Korean.
